About Las Vegas, NV - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

The City of Las Vegas is the most populous city of Nevada, and it serves as the county seat of Clark County. This vibrant and exciting city is internationally renowned as a major resort destination that is known for its gambling, fine dining, nightlife, and shopping. However, it is also a leading commercial and cultural center for Nevada, and there are several colleges and universities located here – the College of Southern Nevada, the University of Nevada School of Medicine, and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Also known as The Entertainment Capital of the World, there is no shortage of things to see or do when traveling to Las Vegas. The Las Vegas Strip is home to the most famous hotels and casinos in the city, including the Mirage, New York New York, Caesar’s Palace, and many others. Many visitors enjoy checking out a concert or a show while in town, such as the latest performance by Cirque de Soleil. The Bellagio also features a conservatory and botanical garden.

In addition to the tourist hot spots found in Las Vegas, there are a variety of other places to see when visiting the area. The Neon Museum features many of the historical signs from mid-20th century Vegas, while the Downtown Arts District is home to numerous art galleries. The Smith Center for the Performing Arts is also located in the downtown area in Symphony Park, and it hosts Broadway shows.

The weather in Las Vegas is hot and dry, typical of a subtropical, hot desert climate zone. The city lies within the Mojave Desert, meaning it will enjoy abundant sunshine all year. The summer months are very hot and typically dry, and average daily high temperatures reach the upper 90s or low 100s. It is crucial that homes are kept cool with a reliable central air conditioning unit during these months, but they will get a break during the short winters. While average highs in January reach the upper-50s, because lows can fall into the 30s, a heat pump or furnace is also a wise investment.
